We offer a range of services to children, parents and professionals from backgrounds such as health, education and social care. Our Services follow appropriate clinical guidelines (e.g. National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, Health and Care Professions Council, British Psychological Society).

Comprehensive Assessments

We provide individual, responsive and comprehensive assessments for children and young people exploring:

  • Cognitive / intellectual profiles

  • Academic skills and specific learning disabilities (e.g. dyslexia)

  • Autism and Social Communication difficulties

  • Attention – including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)

  • Behaviours that challenge (e.g. aggression and outbursts)

  • Emotional needs (e.g. anxiety/low mood)

  • Memory

  • Executive Functioning skills

  • Adaptive behaviour

  • Visual and spatial skills

The information gathered in the assessments is written into a full report with recommendations for support.

Intervention

We work directly with children and adolescents, as well as with their families to help overcome a range of difficulties. We undertake the following:

  • Psychological intervention with children and young people with mental health and psychological difficulties 

  • Psychological intervention to support parents' emotional well-being 

  • Psycho-education to help the young person (and those around them) to understand their strengths and needs

  • Parenting work and interventions to reduce behaviours that challenge 

  • Help with common paediatric problems such as toileting, feeding and sleeping
