Every young person is unique, and we recognise the experiences that can come with developmental differences, neurodiversity, neuropsychological challenges, giftedness and long-term health conditions.
We have expertise in exploring children and young people’s emotions, behaviour, social interactions, cognitive skills, and academic progress. Our goal is to use our extensive knowledge of child psychology and neuropsychology to provide understanding to help make sense of a child’s experiences and provide guidance for the future.
Due to our comprehensive training and experience we are able to provide holistic assessments and psychological interventions.
We believe in working collaboratively and compassionately – not just with children but also with their parents and families. We work with trusted and experienced colleagues (e.g. paediatricians, occupational therapists, psychiatrists and speech and language therapists) from our extensive professional networks to create a fully rounded team, each contributing their area of expertise to ensure everything is considered in establishing the best path forward for your child. Where helpful (and with parental consent), we also involve key people in the child’s life, such as teachers and care teams, to provide the best possible support.
We are Consultant Clinical Psychologists with decades of experience in independent practice and specialist NHS hospitals. We completed our doctoral training to become clinical psychologists and have both gone on to do extensive further training in order to specialise in child development, neurodiversity, neuropsychology, and long-term health needs. We are committed to supporting children to reach their social, emotional, and academic potential. We typically work with children and young people aged between 5 and 21 years old.
